These terms apply to your use of ConnektIQ, operated by Made By Mobbs Pty Ltd in Australia.
What ConnektIQ does
ConnektIQ provides read-only tools that connect an authorised Xero organisation to compatible AI clients so you can ask questions about accounting information. ConnektIQ does not post transactions to Xero.
Your responsibilities
- You must have authority to connect the Xero organisation you authorise.
- You are responsible for keeping your ConnektIQ login secure.
- You must not use the service unlawfully, attempt to access another user's data, interfere with the service, or circumvent security controls.
- You are responsible for checking important financial information against Xero and obtaining professional advice where appropriate.
Not financial, accounting, tax or legal advice
ConnektIQ provides software outputs and summaries, not professional advice. Results may be incomplete, delayed, misclassified or affected by the quality and configuration of your Xero data. Do not rely on ConnektIQ alone for tax filings, statutory obligations, lending decisions, payroll, legal compliance or other material decisions.
Service providers
ConnektIQ relies on third-party service providers for accounting connectivity, authentication, hosting, email delivery, AI-client connectivity and related infrastructure. Their availability, terms, security practices and data handling are outside our direct control. Your use of connected third-party services remains subject to their own terms.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, tools or integrations. We may also restrict or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary for security, misuse, legal requirements or service integrity.
Data and access
You may disconnect Xero at any time. You may permanently delete your ConnektIQ account through Account settings. Read our Privacy Policy for more information about how data is handled.
No warranty
To the extent permitted by law, ConnektIQ is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete or suitable for a particular purpose.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under Australian consumer law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss caused by third-party services, or decisions made solely from ConnektIQ outputs.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be published here with its effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
